In boxing a stoppage win comes before a points victory ! so JT may have outboxed froch for 8 of the 12 rounds but ...err...oh yeah JT's ass was very sore after he kept falling on it in round 12 ! .... if JT has the bollox to get on a plane and figt in front of 10000 passionate english fans for a rematch why not ! but somehow i think JT's bollox wont be up for that !
Kessler would be the one I would like to see, I don't think it would be in Froch's best interest tho'.
I know its ****ing ******ed... He went to America to fight one of Americas top fighters against a hostile crowd and KO'd him. And people won't give respect for that?
We all know why you're bitter dude.. we all know you swing off Pavliks balls so you defend JT as its Pavliks best win.
Well, Froch has fought his No.1 mandatory challenger, but under WBC rules, (if they're applied, of course!!), he still has to fight a second mandatory challenger before he is allowed to unify or engage in a voluntary defence of his title, because he won the vacant title; he didn't beat a beltholder to get it. Andre Ward is next in line, followed by Andre Dirrell. Ward should consolidate his No.1 ranking through beating Miranda. So, the next step for Froch would be Andre Ward, unless he passes on the opportunity (say, because he decides he doesn't like to travel, and Froch doesn't oblige by coming to his backyard...) in which case, Dirrell would be offered the shot. If Dirrell says no too, next in line is Karo Murat, because Pascal is fighting Diaconu for the WBC LHW title. :good But...if it were up to me, I'd have Froch fight Bute next.
Froch just beat the man in his own backyard. Pavlik should man up and fight the top middle weight Arthur Abraham....:deal
If Taylor is willing to travel, the rematch will happen IMO. If he actually wants one.... he should be prepared to hop on board anyway.
Taylor did improve in his rematch against Pavlik. Anyway, Taylor doesn't have to improve that much, he was winning the fight until the knock down.
