Aside from the fact that there were huge lulls in the action, yeah, sure.

Let's not be silly, how can "pretty good" rounds be FOTY?

I heartily stand by what I said, Taylor was boxing very well and nullifying Froch early but that doesn't make a round thrilling. Some rounds of Holyfield-Tyson were almost routine in the same way, when Holyfield had Tyson in his shell so much.

Having watched it again, rounds 11 and 12 should also be in the running for rounds of the year. And credit to Taylor who still trying firing back when dazed.

Only seen the last three rounds but talk about drama!

Can't wait to watch the full fight tonight.

That was an awesome fight, quite possibly the Fight of the Year. Credit to both fighters. Both guys showed great skill, adapabilty, heart & chin. I had Taylor ahead by 2 points before the last round knockdown which would've made it a draw if the ref didn't stop it. Obviously the judges had it different. I can't wait for the eventual rematch.

I musta watched a different fight. The whole fight was pretty high drama with both fighters getting decked & momentum shifts especially late. Froch would start the later rounds scoring some good punches & Jermaine would turn it on late apparently stealing the rounds in some judge's eyes.

agreed...there have been 5 or 6 fights out there better than froch-taylor...
i actually told the guys i was watching it that sorry i was wrong, thought it was going to be a cant miss fight...because alot of the rounds, there was alot of posturing and stalking, but nothing landiing....rounds 3,11,12 and and maybe round 7 or 8 at the very end...other than that, i was waiting for a fight to break out...

I disagree that the last round was Round of the Year since it was almost entirely a Froch round. I judge the fight based on the whole, not a single dominant round.

No,it's maybe a fringe contender,it was a tactical fight for the most part with spurts of action.
Round 11 could be a candidate for round of the year though.

A bet taylors corner was like apollo's in rocky two don't go for the Knockout youve got it won. It was a great fight and jermain was very humble in defeat.
