Go easy on me I've been boozing all night.:D

Looking at the judges scores Froch would have lost by a point had he won the last, and drew if he scored a knockdown. I keep reading posts saying Froch got lucky...

I had it even going into the last

Lots of tight rounds though, and I expected Froch to get jobbed

But Froch almost swept 5-12, Taylor took at most 2 of those eight IMO

Amazing, I'm so thrilled, what a fight

Oh and just to add, if Froch hadn't been so stupid in the first 3 rounds, he could have won this fight much more easily. I am not buying this idea that he was outclassed and pulled out a miraculous KO

He dominated Taylor with a simple one-two (just like Pavlik) when he fought sensibly

I'm rewatching the fight and it appears a lot closer.

Good analogy but i think its more Immaturity on Taylors part when he moved to the Kronk to train Manny said that Taylor was still a novice and that he had gotten through on Natural Talent. I dont think he has improved so i still think hes still natural ability and will go down as a could have been

i think its a mental thing that maybe as a middleweight he was drained as he was a big Middle and he has been told he has stamina problems and taht he has that stigma of stamina problems in his own head and cant shake it off

i also think it is abit natural stamina

    cheers for that

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

for what its worth i had the exact same scorecard as the bear (got a mental block forgot his name Bernstein) but with a diferent method of getting it

It was close fight...going into the 12 Taylor was up by 1 or 2 points... mainly due to the 1st 5 round...where Taylor landed more meaningful punches and got the Knockdown...whereas Froch only landed a couple of hard shots in the first five rounds and was countered on most occasions....However 2nd halve of the fight he really started putting more pressure on Taylor...although you could argue Taylor might have sneaked a couple of the later rounds...it was closer than some of the yanks are making out

Jermain isn't as bad as Judah. No way. The game needs people like Judah and Taylor. The only people who should disappear are the fools who think these fighters should retire.

I had it roughly even going into the 12th. It was a very close fight.

If you believe what you read in the General then Froch lost every second of every round up to the 11th and then gassed in the 12th and Froch got lucky .

One of the best quotes I've read today. "Froch didn't beat Taylor, Taylor beat Taylor". Yeah, Froch's heart, determination, will, strength etc. had nothing to do with it :-(.

In the beginning I felt it was close but Taylors quickness was edging it for him. Later on I felt the rounds were still close but Frochs strength and power were edging it for him. I had it close, maybe slightly Taylor cos of the kd.

For me, it was a case of Froch took Taylors best BUT Taylour couldn't take Frochs best! If Taylor survived, I'd have had it for Froch. It was a close fight where everyone will disagree cos it was like a heated nip and tuck fight.
