Will Pacquiao be able to fight going backwards?

Pacquiao will do whatever strat it takes to take Hatton's left Hook to the body away.
I'm almost certain they would rather take a flush right hand by moving to Rickys power hand than move towards Hatton's left hook to the body

Yes, the guy is an elite fighter & can obviously cant be 1 dimensional but he is nowhere near as good going back as he is going forward.

If he is forced to back up vs Hatton then I dont think his backwards game will be good enough to pull out a win, thats why I think Hatton will win because it will be 2 rocks colliding & I favour the naturally bigger rock.

 

Hatton will come out on top because i think when Manny gets nailed he will revert to type and fight fire with fire, and get stopped. Manny is a legend in every way, but Hatton is a stylistical nightmare for him and too big, i think.

Hes not gonna go backwards. Pacquaio is a warrior and when ever he can hes gonna come foward, this is gonna be a classic fight.

 

I doubt that. not that Pacquaio cant win but being easy. I expect both guys bleeding big time and a couple of Knockdowns before this war is over.

 

Pacman cannot fight going backwards..Something like that comes through instinct, you have to be born with that and it can't be taught.. Pacman cannot handle a stiff jab, pressure/rough inside fighting..

Hatton is going to cut off the ring and disrupt pacman's rhythm, forcing him to fight out of his comfort zone.. I see pac getting manhandled..

Although he is far from perfect, Pacquiao's style is lots of movement in all directions. Considering Pacquiao's speed, I don't think Hatton is capable of keeping him in back peddling mode.
