If Bute had any reason to cry it's that there would have been more money in a Taylor fight.

Fact: 8 months ago that was the exact same response to any statements about Froch now look at him so the fact you've made such a statement just makes you look stupid.

Pascal has been named boxer of the year three times and won the 2002 commonwealth and 2003 pan american games.

Yeah what a fraud - you do have a pair of eyes right? :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

The most entertaining fights at this time for Froch at 168 are Librado Andrade or a rematch with Jermain Taylor...i would love to see this fight again!!

I don't think he could beat Kessler and I think he KOs Bute within 8 rounds.

Froch is a very entertaining fighter with a lot of heart. Can't wait to see him again. I'm sure he converted a lot of fans last night!!

you got that on Wikipedia? You forget to say he was named boxer of the year in Canada, which is not a force at amateur level. And really, Commonwealth and panam games, you can find better than than. Pascal went to the Olympics and was out pretty early. He seems to be jus a bit off of the top, amateur or pros. I think he's dedicated now and will improve a lot, instead of relying only on his brute talent.

And this makes him one of the best 2 "pure boxers" at 168?

You should be careful about who you accuse of making stupid statements. No one called him a fraud, just questioning a rather over-the-top assertion about where Pascal stands. I actually look forward to some good things from Pascal, but what you wrote is just nonsense as it relates to the question at hand.

    Dear Sarah,

What Jean Pascal did in the amateur ranks doesn't translate to the pros. If you look at the fight against Froch and the ones against Norman and Pittman, he's often off balance after throwing shots, his punch is too wide, he's open to shots on defense. He's exciting, sure, but anything else than one of the two purest boxers at 168.

And if you're using that argument to glorify Froch, you're one lame boxing fan. I'll admit that Froch is fun to watch but don't tell me his technique is one to dream of. He win on guts and stamina. Point blank.

    :hi:

Name 15 super middles better than him. I rank the division like this.

    Kessler
    Bute
    Froch
    Andrade
    Taylor
    Bika
    Pascal
    Direll
    Balzay
    Inkin or Ward

Now tell me: What did Dirrell, Balzay or Inkin did to be ranked ahead of Pascal? Name me 5 other fighters you consider better than Pascal... Lol and please don't embarass yourself mentionning Jeff Lacy

Pascal went life and death, fighting toe to toe for 12 rounds with the strongest and hardest puncher in the division and lost a close decision (nevermind the scorecards) away from his hometown and after a year off the ring.

Direll beat the punching bag Oganov and Anthony "who the ****" Hanshaw.

Balzay is an overprotected fighter who won his title against another overprotected fighter in Inkin who won the title by barely getting by Zuniga (who took the fight on 2 weeks notice) and who was anhilated by Bute.

IF ward beats Miranda ill rank him ahead of Pascal but Pascal will still be top 10.

Bute's height and reach will win him the fight.... He has trouble with Taylor when JT used his jab... How will he fair against a guy 6'2, fast hands, good power, and knows how to use his attributes............
