Thats a good point, Froch was on steve bunce boxing show over here in the uk erecently talking about calzaghe (as he always does lol)
Froch seemed to accept the fight would never happen and accepted the fact joe didnt have the hunger anymore and once that goes your not the same fighter.

But now of course Froch returns to his boasts once again that he wants joe and will beat him.

Why doesnt Froch just look forward to what this fight has opened up for him and the potential big paydays and fights ahead for him??

Let joe enjoy retirement and dont ask joe to come back and give carl a beating

He does go on like a broken record and it's getting old now. He's losing out on some fans who are tired of hearing about him wanting Calzaghe. It's clear he's just after a massive payday.

I admire his heart and his toughness, but he does come across as a bit of a bell-end.

He should call out Mikkel Kessler, a man he has barely mentioned.

I dont think we will hear Froch call out Kessler, he knows that if a small smw like taylor can floor him then what would kessler do??
Kessler is going to land on his chin and then its good night
Also kessler is so big he would be stronger than froch and bully him around the ring, Calzaghe used movement and angles to beat kessler and sheer volume of punches got to kessler in the end.
Carl has neither he doesnt have a large punch output, isnt as fast as joe and isnt as clever a boxer.
What froch needs to do is get into the gym and work on his defence quickly, or his next fight will be his last

A excellent point. But, I think Kessler v Froch would be immense - it would be a battle of power punches from two people who have solid chins. This fight needs to happen for a true lineal 168 champion.

Calzaghe Froch would be lacy all over again Froch is way to slow Calzaghe is quicker than taylor and he totally out sped Froch and made him look stupid for most of the fight,Froch big power also proved to be a myth taylor was hittin much harder till he gassed so there is no way Froch could knock joe out so whats he going to do outwork him,i dont think so.

Calzaghe by utter destruction. I like froch and think he's good for the sport but it would be like a highschool football team playing a real game with the superbowl champs if you get my drift.

and yes Joe Calzaghe would be playing the role of superbowl champs

    agreed :good
froch needs to let go, joe's not coming back. and even if he did it'd be the biggest mistake of froch's career. joe would make him look a right ****.
i'm a froch fan, but he needs to stop whining about joe. he was lucky last night, but it was still a fantastic finish. he needs to tighten his defence up and stop trying to show how hard he is (he can take a right proper dig tho) tho before he meets the likes of kessler etc or they'll just **** him.

froch is strong and has a good chin but is seriously lacking in skills. Joe teaches him a lesson if they ever meet in a catch weight.

I really think it would be a humiliation of Lacy like proportions. Far too easy to hit to go in with Calzaghe.

Froch is not as relevant as people make him in this forum. He is good, but it's not posible for him to become as great as Joe Calzaghe, Hopkins, Roy Jones etc., so he's either a crazy idiot trying to provoke Calzaghe the way he has, or he's just trying to make some noise, which he has done alright. He still gets schooled by Calzaghe though.

He would have a field day with Froch and his lack of defense
