They probably recorded their commentary whilst watching the fight on a monitor in London (or elsewhere in the UK) sometime this afternoon.
John Rawling commentated live at the Appleby-Lindsay fight last night, so I doubt he could have made it to the USA in time to do Froch-Taylor "live".

Yes, I agree. The adverts really **** me off too, especially on live fights in between every round, but the ones tonight dragged on for ages.
However, times are tough financially and ITV are feeling the pinch too, so the revenue they can generate from advertisements all help towards putting money in the pot, which ultimately is what it's going to take if ITV are going to pay anything towards delivering fights such as Froch-Taylor.

Sky + it and forwarded through the ads, you still got the corner work.

ITV came through after the rest of the country's broadcasters turned there backs on Carl.

Yeah, I agree. I've seen it a few times on pre-recorded fights, the commentators are really forthcoming in their opinions saying what Fighter A needs to do... only for that to be the exact thing to happen.
It would be good if they didn't know the result beforehand, but in many cases I suppose it wouldn't be logically possible.
I guess they should train the commentators up to be really good actors! :D

All they had to do was watch it without knowing the result. That's what I did. That's what I always do when I can't watch a fight live.

it was ridiculous, but they've gotta pay the bills

analysis would've been nice, but i thought it was ok
the commentary though was pathetic, although it must be difficult commentating on a fight that you know the result

if that was the first time you saw the fight and was waiting all day avoiding the result those adverts must've pissed you off

I don't watch much TV at all, and adverts annoy the hell out me when I do - especially when they seem to go on and on between rounds as they did here...

Still, that's how they pay for it, so can't moan.... no adverts, no boxing...
