Sam Soliman has been listed as having an upcoming bout a few times recently - now BoxRec have nothing listed for him. First he was scheduled to fight on a card at the Melbourne Showgrounds. That card was rescheduled to the Melbourne Hockey Centre...then somewhere else...and then as far as I can tell, it's been abandoned. Sam's involvement in it certainly appears to have, anyway. Anyone know if/when Sam's gonna pull the gloves on again??
He was scheduled to fight in May and for the first time in his career suffered an injury. He's been operated on (minor surgery) and he will be back in late July..Then I will most likely put him on the Oct 2 Cameron Tua card Ive been assembling the U/C. That info come direct from his trainer..Hope I could help shed some light.
Gazzard is over here in the USA... foley is over here too - Johnny Hopoate will be here shortly ... And Ive been speaking with Johnny Hoppa & I think Sam Soloman will be over here sparring when he's finished at the AIS. Get ready for some big noise on Sakio as well .. it will be Froch Unification or Taylor as a defense of his IBO ... Im preparing media releases now .. makng some noise .. but I am speaking with Mick Hennessey and I will speak with Lou tommorow and ill give you the first hand info on that to share with ESB members..

Nice to see Sakio getting a fight, was worried about what he was doing (not much!) Bika V Froch, what a war that would be.
How would a Soliman vs. Taylor bout fare? Would it be as ugly as I think it would be? Still interesting imo though.. Bika vs Froch would be awesome!!
IMO, a great undercard match... just not one to fill any stadiums in OZ. Sammy/Taylor. Definately better entertainment value than watching Danny Green pick his opponents for the sake of a quick win.
