Great fight. Was watching it with a cousin who knows NOTHING about boxing and in the last 2 rounds he was jumping up and down cheering Carl on. Carl has surely won many fans and if he keeps his word and pursues the big names then I will be rooting for him all the way.

Absolutely brilliant fight, really dramatic. I jumped out of my seat when he dropped Taylor and I'm not even a big fan (or wasn't). Froch has got heart, he wasn't winning that fight and there're loads of blokes who'd have mentally given up and taken the L.
Well done Carl, you did yourself proud :good

Agreed i wasnt sure either but you cant fault the guys heart. Technically hes a bit of a disaster zone but hes won a fan in me despite that. I think the way he fights though at the moment if a better fighter with better stamina than taylor would have probably made him pay in those last rounds. Not taking anything away from an impressive comeback that had me screaming at the TV! Bloody brilliant. Cant say hes boring thats for sure!

That was a great fight, Froch showed lots of heart and class. I had the fight a tie going into the last round, closer than many others, Taylor was trying to steal rounds in the last 1min-30 sec and was on the back foot for most of the fight as Froch was the one coming forward.

    Froch is a real Warrior.

I think Froch needs a long rest, you right he did not look and move right in the first half of the fight and Froch can do better than that. Maybe he had a long training camp and left something in the gym. He should take his time and now have a big fight at the end of the year.

I've followed Froch from his first few fights and always thought we'd see big things from him one day but i've got to admit, I didnt think he'd beat Taylor.

I too found myself on my feet and punching at the air in the last round!

I couldn't believe he was actually going to pull it off!

What a fight and a huge congrats to Froch.

I think Carl can fight better than he did and perhaps this win will give him the confidence to do so but their must be a few people rubbing their hands and fancying matchup with Froch right now.

Showtime commentators 'ooh my gosh, taylor is hurt' Classic.

  11. Very impressive all round from Froch really. Props for taking the risks and props for pulling it off. He had to dig deep to come back from a terrible start. Awesome finish, very exciting stuff.

    Well done.

    Leave Kessler until last.
