If toughness could win fights against Calzaghe, Lacy would have looked a little better. Calzaghe would outland Froch about 10:1, confuse him and never let him think straight. Fighters who called Joe a slapper never knew beforehand how much it would confure them to be hit that often and incessantly.

this would never be at 168 anyway, joe cant make that weight, maybe 171/172 catchweight fight

saying that, weight is another good reason this fight wont happen

Kessler said as much at the post fight conference. Bhop said it before the RJJ fight as well.

Said it on another thread the other day and I will say it again. This would be Calzaghe vs Lacy II.

Froch would play straight into Joe's hands. As safc1990 says a repeat of the Lacy fight.

Calzaghe would comprehensively outwork him. Wide UD.

Great heart shown by Froch, but if anything the Taylor fight emphasised his weaknesses, which is he doesnt like speed and gets hit too much, against Calzaghe this is a problem as Joe doesnt get tired like Jermain Taylor..

    Calzaghe UD.

I was thinking about this during the JT - Froch fight. JC will slap him for 12 rounds or until his corner throws in the towel. I can't see how he could possibly win this fight. JC's chin is too good, even for a hail mary to win him the fight and it definitely won't be an accumulation KO.

Froch, like most boxers, has confidence way above his actual ability. That is what makes these boxers great, NO FEAR! But he'd get ***** slapped.

tbh if calzaghe does come out of retirement it will be at 175,he will not get back to 168.
so if froch wants him it will be at lhw.

Joe Cal by wide UD. Joe is simply a better and also faster fighter which would allow him to score on Froch's slow, wide swinging ass at will

Of course he can make the weight. He was 166 for Mikkel Kessler. If he wants to make the weight or even fight Froch is another matter.

massive UD for calzaghe. he'd have far too much for froch, at any weight.

Can't see Froch beating Joe to be honest, while froch deserved the win over Taylor, its not like he destroyed him and i think joe is a lot better than taylor.
