maybe barrera - morales or vasquez v marquez...

uk / irish boxing fans of my older vintage may remember the robbie regan v francis ampofo trilogy...british title level though..not best of all time compared to above, but one of my favourites.

    its a tie between gatti-ward & vazquez-marquez

    with ali-frazier not far behind

you can add marquez-pacqiuao to that if/when fight 3 happens

By all accounts from the people that saw it, this is the best trilogy of all times. However, from my research, its impossible to view the first two fights anymore.

Ali Frazier is the best one. Without the trilogy, I doubt Frazier would be thought of as a great fighter.

    Agree 101%.

Ali-Frazier however is my all-time fave. A lot of the younger boxing fans will never have the privilege in living the experience in all its hype, drama, and historic significance...

My main problem with this is that no one on this site ever even saw the first fight. There is no tape of it anywhere. I can't judge something that I did not see.

Marco Antonio Barrera vs Erik Morales is the greatest trilogy all of time in my estimation. Their first fight was the greatest fight I've ever seen, two of the greatest little men of the last 20 years going at it hammer and tong during their respective primes. That is what all other fights are measured against. Their second fight was a tad disappointing, but I think their thrid effort more than made up for that. Bad blood, high action and drama, but also most importantly, high skill level throughout.
