Cant believe that this guy thinks that it was a premature stoppage. It was great timing. In the last combination of shots his arms were up but he received 3 hard shots straight to the head. Then his arms dropped and his head slumped forward into another shot. He was defenceless.
Lucky for Froch that Taylor was so hurt that he didn't take a knee and take the 8 count, or Froch would have lost a decision.

I can't figure out why people are so sold on Taylor.:huh He hasn't improved in any department. To be honest I don't think he ever will because he listens to nobody but his own expectations. I will never forget some of his comments in the past. "You're money in the bank". Keep your words sweet Taylor, one day you might have to eat them. Like today.

The ref gave Taylor every chance, from the time his arse hit the ground to the time he got his gloves up it was around 13 seconds. 11 Seconds on the floor. It was a very slow 9 count.

Anybody that doesn't respect Jermain Taylor is quite disturbed. that kid is all heart!

 

No-one can deny that he possesses a great amount of skill and speed - he made Froch look stupid for most of the fight. But, unless he sorts out his stamina issues (if that's even possible) he's never going to get back to the top. Saying that, I think he'd beat Froch in a rematch.

 

Hope he wins a title again and isnt too scarred by it all...

 

He'll never be a champ again. Ever. Taylor's stamina issues are as chronic as Amir Khan's chin and against anyone physically stronger than him, he'll lose.
