The young champ JuanMa Lopez is taking care of business on evey new fight, every fight I seen from Juan Ma, he grows more as a boxer, his skills are more refined, as well as his ringmanship and savyness...it is obvious that JuanMa is ready for the big payday against the Rafa Marques and Israel Vazquez....

At 25 years old, Juan Ma has mature faster than any other 25 year old that comes to mind in a while...wew hear a lot about Gamboa, two years the elder of Juan Ma, and his resume or accomplishments are not near the level of Juan Ma Lopez....

Gamboa is older but he hasnt even been a pro for two years so its a dumb comparison.

IMO JuanMa is a level above Gamboa. Gamboa is good but he's one of those guys who really relies on his physical talent. IMO that will catch up with him quick at those weight classes, where a lot of guys are fast enough and talented enough to deal with that.

JuanMa, however, has the physical tools and some great ring smarts. He is just very technically sound. A hard fighter not to like.

Absolutely...the point is that becuase his tremendous physical talent, Gamboa is been turning into something he is not and never will....for a well versed Cuban amateur Gamboa has a lot of flaws taht will get exploited when he get up in class...

Juan Ma on the other hands, has all the moves, all the saviness and skills that IMO Gamboa will never have......even at 23 JML was exhibiting top tier skills and ringmanship!!

As for power, Juan Ma's record speaks for itself, in KO% AND OPPOSITION!!!

I want Lopez to fight Vasquez in the near future. I'll say no later than the summer of next year.

Can Lopez handle Vasquez's left hand if they fight? If they fight we could see a better fight then the Marquez fights. If Vasquez can take his punch which is also a big question. Hope it happens.

If I was Juanma I would take care of Celestino first. Then meet Vazquez in a great match that could be a great PPV event.

    No ****.
Juanma has more than 20+ fights while Gamboa has only 16 fights.
Gamboa's handlers are hiding their fighter so he doesn't get exposed.
he's a KO waiting to happen.

JUANMA will obliterate IZZY VAZQUEZ and R.MARQUEZ iffffff any of them were ever to happen. They seem to be on ***** street ever since Juanma came to the scene (by astounding 1st rd KO fashion against Ponce DL).. At that time PDL was cosidered right there on top with both of them... now the detractors dare to say he was just not good enough... same fate would await IZZY OR RM, too bad they don't have any plans for the near future..... yeah, yeah,... I forgot Vazquez is recovering for the last century from eye surgery and MARQUEZ, welllllll..... AH, YEAH, MARQUEZ is still recovering from the wars with IZZY... good ones!!! Don't take me wrong,I think they are very good fighters, just not as good as 99% of people in here think. They remind me of Gatti & Ward, made for each other butttttttttt when presented against top level comp.... you get the picture!!!
