WE can only speculate as donaire never fought over 115. There's just no way to know how effective he'll be up there.. If he can carry his speed and his punching power to 118-122 which im pretty sure he could, then he'd have more than a good chance to beat Juanma..
Donaire is just the type of fighter who could give Lopez hell but the size advantage would be too great IMO.
True, the size could be the difference in the fight. I just wanna see him test the water at 118..Then we'll have a better idea.. But Juanma will be moving up to 126 after this year so i doubt this fight comes off.
At 122 he would still hold a slight advantage over Marquez and Vasquez.....they may be shot too so who knows? I don't think his power will carry up all the way.....hypothetically, let's say he is physically comfortable and moves up there now....if Rafa and Izzy have anything left they will at least make it competitive, but Donaire has very good movement. He CAN win a decision, but without knowing how well he takes a punch (it's not as if Vic hit him clean is it?) we can't speculate as to whether they would K.O him or not. My suspicions are that Caballero would, and JuanMa definitely would. Penelosa beat some big shots off of Lopez's chin, he kept it tucked and kept moving forward. Impressed by Lopez's performance against Penelosa, will be intriguing to see what happens when he comes across Vasquez/Caballero/Gamboa but there's a chance we will just keep chucking out names until he eventually loses, not fair for any fighter.
WOW, ARE U the same guy that just criticized me on another thread about being the JUANMA version of a *******? I see your common sense now :think
Nonito has done **** since his win over Vic. I think he would be too small to deal with Juanma. He gets stopped late.
