Taylor didn't "beat" Hopkins. He got a couple of bogus gift decisions thanks to his buddies at HBO. Taylor is, was, and always will be an HBO-created fraud. Never CLEARLY won a single fight against top opposition at their best. Without HBO to get the nods, he's a run of the mill contender.

Nah, I don't much like it when ATG fighters get screwed out of victories they should have had to grease the wheels for the latest network hype job. It's monumentally unjust. But these things have a way of working out. Taylor's subsequent exposure has been VERY satisfying.
