How can u compare the two! At least I know that when a fighter moves up in weight his KO ratio always goes down. Thats just common sense u don't need to be a boxing fan to work that out. Any way i'm sorry if i hurt ur boyfriends feelings
Is Oganov still around? If so, then he wins hands down. What a shame he is such a terrible, terrible boxer.
Kessler has the best in terms of accumulated power. He doesn't swing like Froch or Andrade, but he has sharp accuracy. I think Miranda's lost a lot of his power since he moved up. He's a lot slower than he was at MW and the extra weight seems to have bloated him. Against Joey Vegas (even though that was at Light Heavy) he was very sluggish and didn't really get a legit KO; he had to tee off and bully the guy against the ropes. He wasn't punching with devastating power by any means.
By the way, another name that could be added to that list is Epifanio Mendoza. He campaigns anywhere from 160 to 175 and even though he's not much in the way of skill, the man can still BANG!
not always. many fighters' power increases when they move up in weight. it depends highly on how fighters are built, how much weight they cut to fight where they are, who they fight when they move up, how their power transfers to a heavier weight, etc. it's not really common sense either, there are a lot of factors to consider.
Miranda, too bad he has no skills.. at least no more. every time he gets more weight on him looks worse each every time. thou he barely never looked any spectacular
To be fair, he is not the type of guy to get P4P status. He is what he is: a guy who can bang at 160 or 168, nothing more, nothing less...
Berrio, if he still fights at this weight class. That guy just plants his feet and tries to land bombs. That makes him ineffective at times, but if he lands its damage.
He needs a stationary target to land one of his big haymakers. Horrible fighter he is ! He has telling pop in his fists, but his skills are quite limited.
??? Have you seen his uppercut to the body? He has many single shot ko's with it. I agree though he's not a one shot ko artist. But then you say Taylor is number 2 in power. :rofl You just lost any credibility you had left.
