Calzaghe shite-talking again, his lack of class is coming through once more.

And no, it doesn't matter that Froch 'started it'.

Joe proved in his long mediocre career that he was never interested in testing himself and only wanted the easy option.

Froch should concentrate on becoming a world champion with his real belt and not that piece of filth JC hung around with for so long. Hopefully Froch will fight the best challengers where ever and when ever and not ***** out like JC did time and time again.

Is it established that Froch is a top figher in his prime then?

I would love to see the fight but to be honest I don't think Calzaghe will like the idea of testing himself against a dangerous 'lesser' opponent. Calzaghe would UD him though.

Froch is an ok fighter in just about his prime. The SMW division has always been pretty much weak when compared to the ones around.

    Fantastic attitude to have.

You can slate his skills all you want..... but to me this shows a guy who couldn't care less about losing his "0" and really test himself, to someone like Joe who took the easiest road possible throughout his career

    True.
Calzaghe claims that he would hurt 'Froch'. Seems to me the only thing he could do is slap his way to a 12 UD. I don't think Calzaghe could 'hurt him badly' that's exageration if I've ever heard it.

Yep. Even Clinton Woods had a better career than JC.

What's in it for Calzaghe to risk his oh-so-perfect record against an ok fighter that could be somewhere near his prime?

Earlier you said that he "needs to fight a top fighter in his prime. Hopefully Froch will accomodate him."

Is Froch a top fighter or just an OK fighter? You're confusing me.

Also, do you think that SMW is currently a lot weaker than MW and LHW at the moment?

Calzaghe doesn't want to give Froch a pay day end of. Calzaghe knows, as we all do that he would beat Froch. Froch seems to think if he continues to barrage Joe with these insults he will finally give him the pay day he craves. Good on Joe for not being weak and playing Froch's little game.

id rather see Froch go for Bute, Kessler, Williams, Abraham, Pavlik. Fights he has a shot at winning.

For once JC speaks the truth. I'd take an old, brittle hand, inactive, slappy joe over a prime Froch anyday

Seeing Froch in his 25th fight go to America for his first title defense and Haye after just 23 fights become unified Cruiserweight champion and now going over to Germany to take on the number 1 in the Heavyweight division certainly puts Calzaghe's lack of ambition into perspective.

Now Calzaghe has retired he must realize that he could have done a lot more with his career.
