Bradley stripped of WBC Title - Alexander-Witter for vacant belt

    The WBC didn't waste any time in stripping Bradley - at least we had the pleasure of seeing two titles unified for, what, a few weeks?
    Apparently Showtime weren't interested in Bradley-Alexander so Bradley's people felt the fight was going to be too difficult to make.
    Nice crossroads fight between Alexander and Witter though.
    Devon has looked good to far but this is a good step up for him.

    **** I hate this ****....go Jr. Witter...why, because we already know he got served by the guy who should have the belt and I can't think of a better way to deligitamise this belt then watching him try to act like a champion again. (can ya tell I'm bitter?)

    so the belt organizations basically more or less explained to us that they will not allow unification

    Nobody has hardly heard of this guy. I have never seen him fight. Bradley had no choice, but, to vacate the title. Witter isn't much. If Devon is any good, he'll KO Witter, who has lousy defense.

    I heard Alexander didn't look too good in his latest fight - anyone see it?
    The division takes a step in the right direction with a unification fight, and the WBC takes it two steps backwards.
    The fact Suluiman is in the Hall of Fame is shameful.

    Absolute bull****. The only thing Bradley did wrong, apparently, was not bribe the WBC enough to let him keep their title.

    Well we had a unified champ for all of 24 days, maybe they thought that ws long enough. Go Witter, I guess, at least maybe he can try calling out hatton again (though Hatton hasnt so much as even looked at Witter).

    A letter shows that Bradley gave his word to the WBC that as long as they allowed the unification bout, that he would face Alexander next. Now, he's chosen not to face Alexander, so good for the WBC.

    The WBC sent Bradley a letter informing him they would strip him(regardless or whether or not he fought Alexander) if he didn't vacate the WBO belt.

    True story. Bradley backed out on his word and did not fight his number 1 contender. That is a very legitimate reason for stripping him.

    Why doesn't Bradley just agree to fight Alexander? That's a very winnable fight for him.

    I'm hearing the same thing BigReg did- that they put Bradley on the spot and basically made him choose which one of the titles he wanted to keep.
