Froch beat Taylor because he's more skilled.

Physically Taylor had better skills and talent but mentally he was not as tough. At the end of the day Froch rose to the occasion and pulled it out when Taylor had a great chance to win. Mentally he coulden't take Froch's pressure and fell. He was outwilled not outskilled. Heart is something that people remember fighters for. If Gatti had no warrior spirit you think people would be talking about him now? no way. Very few fighters have high skill physically and mentally. The best example is Larry Holmes getting up after being decked by a P4P altime puncher in Shavers and getting up and stopping him in a few rounds combining heart with skill

Taylor has a better right hand then Froch

Taylor has better footwork then Froch

Taylor has a more natural flow to his attack then Froch

Taylor has better head movement then froch

Taylor has better combos then Froch.

Overall I say Taylor has more skills. Only thing Froch had was a solid chin and a big heart.

Fact is Froch is an overall more skilled and better fighter, but Taylor is a better athlete who can't seem to learn from his mistakes and will continue to be beaten by fighters he cannot overpower.
