Im pretty sure there are but as far as competitive ones you are right on the button. Hell even Mexico has never had a heavyweight champion. Arreola would be the first one if he succeeds. The best HW have been either black or white imo

 

Let's wait a couple of years. Professional boxing did not exist in China until recently, but I can bet there will be some decent boxers amongst more than bilion people.

 

There aren't alot of McDonalds down in mexico, atleast not as much as in the US.

Mexicans are small but Mexican Americans get pretty big. Its nutrition. Aficans in Africa are much smaller than African Americans. My relatives that grew up here are much bigger than on the islands. Even Asians here get pretty tall and first world asian countries like china produce basketball centers.

 

Ruslan Chagaev is an Asian HW. Oleg Maskaev was born in Kazakhstan. BTW both Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko born in Asia.

 

FWIW boxing is NOT at all popular in China-the largest country in the world-population wise. There are about 4 Chinese people to every 1 American; China=20% of the entire world's population. I lived in China for 5 years and can tell you in some areas the people are much larger than we usually think of them. China started developing basketball and a skilled 7'6 player like Yao Ming came along in just two years, if they start boxing watch out!
