This will be a great fight to watch, id like to see how FLoyd deals with that sort of technical ability.

I'm not so sure about the big, big money for JMM. Did Floyd agree to share the loot? What is their purse split?

The question was 147. At 147 he fought judah and baldomir, those are his biggest wins against legit welterweight. The other 2 victories were against really a 140 lbs fighters in hatton and mitchell.

Nah, give us the links. I heard also that Floyd is interested in Spinks as his tune-up fight.

There's really no point in making a thread like this unless you have a concrete source.

I will be PRAYING like a ****ing maniac for the great DINAMITA to win, but ultimately at 145lbs I think Floyd will be a step too far. For all Mayweather's faults, he is still a supremely skilled fighter.

Great fight though. Can't wait! (if it is actually happening, that is)

ps: Mosley or Williams would have been a harder fight for Floyd IMO

Paul is also a physical freak and is now fighting at 160 he better be able to do it. Shane is also a big WW and should be able as well.

Bull****! If hes fighting at 148 lbs, then this is the same weight Pac walks into the ring with. Surely then he can fight JMM at 135-140 since he is as small as Pacquaio!!!

Why make JMM fight at over 140 for???

Typical delusional Floyd fans who wants to have it both ways

JMM is one of, if not the smartest, boxer in the ring. He has the abilities to adapt to many styles and situations. Now I'm not saying he will outbox Floyd but mark my words, JMM will give Floyd his biggest challenge to date if this fight is made.

JMM's constant pressure and pinpoint accuracy, as well as ring generalship and technicalities will cause Mayweather to have a hard time. . I could see a SD going either way.

Or Mayweather potshots to a UD =p

I think so too. JMM has always been hittable though. He leaves his chin open after his combinations which are the best in the business. He does this alot as well as he squares up when he is looking to get them off. I think Floyd sees where he can get his lead left hooks in all night and duck under JMM counters. It will be a better fight than people expect. I expect JMM to land some good punches early. JMM has a chance b/c although Floyd is bigger, he is a fighter that does not use his size in the ring and he is not hardly physical unless you get physical with him. JMM and him will be a pure boxing match.
