    Is there not a point, after 25 fights, in which you tell yourself 'I've never landed one of these - its a complete waste of energy'?

    Or, has anybody ever seen him land one?

    He has landed, but not against decent opposition. He doesn't just load it up, he sticks the kitchen sink on it...and then sends a postcard to his opposition informing them of his intentions....it really is ugly to watch, but a bingo if it ever landed (unlikely).

    Wasn't it one of those long uppercuts that thoroughly unhinged and dropped Taylor in the final round?

    I know Froch misses a lot of uppercuts, but when they land they're pretty spectacular....

    it was from about 5 feet away it does nothing, i think froch has no skill whatsover at the top class Taylor made him look silly

    the same reason he puts his hands down, pulls his right hand back from his guard position after jabbing with his left, squares up and takes the same shot over and over

    he has a lot of fundamental flaws, its just a question of how far his chin, heart will take him because if he stays at this level any smart fighter with a decent skill set will eventually beat him and he knows it thats why he wants the calzaghe/money fight asap because he will be nothing without a strap, lose and he becomes high risk little reward

    I think it was actually a proper straight right that hurt Taylor initially. When he was hurt he started unloading the kitchen sink which was pretty ugly. Froch's best punch is a short straight right. I don't know why he doesn't use it more instead of these crazy uppercuts and roundhouse hooks.

    I'm talking about the uppercuts where he starts off on one side of the ring and flings his whole body into an uppercut. Carl, an uppercut is best used on the inside or to catch an opponent coming in.
