he lost to Lewis because of an injury...

    ....yes, that Lewis caused:patsch

it's hardly the same thing as a damaged shoulder. He wasn't on his stool complaining of a bad face. His face was damaged by his opponent too badly for him to continue.

    Lennox is clearly...CLEARLY the best.

Vitali is high on ability but is really lacking in quality wins. In fact, you could say that Ike Ibeabuchi is a non-american with more quality wins with Tua and Byrd. Heck, even Tua himself has better wins than Vitali with the same two losses (Byrd and Lewis).

Wlad has a better case because while he has no stand out opponents, he has been on a really good streak of wins at what passes for the top level these days.

I'll go with Schmeling becaus ehe actually defeated a great fighter in Louis.

So byrd is a standout opponent on Ike's resume but not on Wlads? :huh Wlad has a much better resume then Ike, stop being silly. And isn't Tua from Hawaii?

Wins over an ATG opponent are overrated anyway - Rahman has also defeated an ATG, but I rarely see him in Top 20 lists, unlike Schmeling who is listed because he is OLD. Dominance over a certain period of time is much more important imo.

C'mon now...I'm willing to admit LL resume *is* better than Vitali's...Although his losses 2 losses aren't as bad as LL IMO. Your seriously *REACHING* with some of those names though LOL. I'm sure I could look at Vitali's resume, and *reach* for some names as well. Again, Vitali would have beaten Byrd if it wasn't for the shoulder injury. He beat him all rounds... Also Vitali won 4-2 against Lewis. "His opponent couldn't continue." Please....Should he have continued honestly? Nope. Could Vitali actually continue, and maybe even take LL out the next round? Yep. What pissed me off is they gave no warning to Vitali. His face was that bad for rounds (and he was still winning 4-2), and they let that continue. Whenever it seemed Vitali stood a chance at taking LL out, and LL was tired...the fight was stopped. What would it have hurt to say *Vitali you got one more round to stop him, or else we are going to stop the fight*?
The fight looked like it was MADE TO STOP. Again, not saying he would have won for sure, but I'm saying he did fine for the rounds he was cut, and didn't seem to matter.....Rewatch the fight, and look how angry Vitali was they stopped it, and tell me he couldn't continue. Listen to the fans afterwards, and tell me they thought it HAD TO BE stopped. Listen to LL after the fight, and he sounded like a defensive theif saying "I beat him, and I'd beat his brother too!"
So, don't give me that ****..He couldn't continue. People give Vitali **** cuz they think he should have continued with a TORN ROTATOR CUFF!!!...Yet, 3 big cuts that didn't seem to effect him that much, and there like "thank god it ended"...Yeah, cuz there beloved LL could have walked in to something...

All the names on Lewis' resume that I mentioned were world ranked or no1 contenders, some were legends, some were undefeated, and most were belt holders.

Vitali's resume does not compare, in anyway. The worst name from those listed is still probably better than the best name on Vitali's resume.

Vitali has two unavenged losses on his record. Lennox Lewis has zero unavenged losses on his record.

Lewis was the undisputed heavyweight champion. Vitali Klitschko is a world title holder.

Lastly, as I've already said, Lewis defeated Klitschko fairly, and cleanly. There is no debate, no controversary, no question. What "could have", or "would have" or "should have" happened is irrelevant, what happened, happend. Accept it, move on. Lewis won via TKO.
