I will again reiterate; the Torrecampo punch landed on Manny's chin, not his body. All of these 'glass body' claims resonate from sheer ignorance.

 

I hope Manny doesnt take TOO many body shots because I have money on a Hatton pts win & the wee Asian fella aint gonna see the final bell if he exposes that body too much.

 

Too bad Pac isn't gonna just stand there and let that happen.

hattons body shot's are hurtfull but many fighters have withstood his best body shots and kept walking watch the eamonn macgee fight hatton landed his body punchs and he kept comming hatton said he felt his best body punchs was useless against him and he landed them left right and centre he said he also hit the best body punch on him what he ever done and macgee just said "is that it" , pacquio is way more skilled and complex to be seen walking into body shots all night

 

We've sen Pacquioa KOed or hurt with body shots even recently.. and he can do all the sit-ups he wants but as we all know body shots hurt everybody. Hatton's body attack will be essential to his performance.

 

Yeah it hit it's chin and if you look even more closely it got deflected into his nuts afterward. So it was like manny got knocked down and then someone ran up to him right afterward and kicked him in the nuts. :tired

 

Rds 1-8, possibly..... after that, I think he hugs those sore ribs & prays for a pts loss.

 

I do seem to remember JMM hurting Pac to the body once. That's really the X-Factor in this fight. How consistently Pac allows himself to be left open for body punches.

That and whether or not Ricky Hatton will resort to older/newer tricks (bulling in with his head down screaming "LEFT HOOK! I'M OPEN!" and letting his emotions get the best of him) if things go rough.

 

It would be so funny if Pac ends up knocking Hatton out with a bodypunch.

But uhh, I have full faith that Manny won't so much as hit the deck in this fight, Manny is a machine, but let's break away from reality and say Hattin does put Pac on the canvas, I beleive that Pac's got too much heart to stay down there,.... Pac by T/KO

 

If that's how you'd like to interpret it.

 

While Pac has TONS of heart and guts, I would be extremely worried if he got knocked down. That's a position Manny hasn't been in in a looong time now. If he gets dropped, I think he could get shell shocked and potentially TKO'd. It would be almost like a whole new experience for him.

That said? I don't see him getting knocked down at all.
