The huggers as you like to call them already know Jones would have beat him. I'm sure you've proven something though...

Proves **** all apart from Joe is a realist. Likewise Roy wouldn't have taken the fight either if he hadn't been offered the crown jewels himself. Go and ask Roy why he never fought Michalczewski even though the fight was agreed on all sides apart from his own for New York when he was being offered the crown jewels for that particular fight himself

There is a source coming out of Joe's mouth he didnt want to fight Jones at his prime.

    You only have speculation.

The problem with 'sources coming out of Joe's mouth' is that pretty much everything he's ever said in his life has been contradicted by something else that he's said or done.

It's best to treat anything he says as at best an unreliable guide to what he thinks, or will be thinking a week down the line.

I think it was because he wanted to save Roy the beating.

Well no that is fact about Roy. I'm one of Roy's biggest fans and if I was a betting man I would be putting my money on him against most people. I just don't think he was 'unbeatable' and I also didn't like the 'supplements' he was fond of because he could still have been a great fighter without them, unlike **** domestic fighters who had **** all talent and are envious of those guys who make it.

Jones wasnt the most gung-ho fighter himself. Plenty of his defenses came against complete bums.

Jones used to fight postal workers, alcoholics, garbage men, janitors, etc., he ran from Michalczewski for years. Calzaghe is very much underrated.

So basically that says if the money was right Calzaghe would have given up his beloved 0 and fought Roy at LH?. :scaredas:

Cheers Jeff for showing he wasnt a ducker protecting his 0, but more a cash *****, who would have fought Jones Jr if he was offered the money. But wasnt.

    Read it and weep haters.
