I agree with that. Team Pacquiao wouldn't be having their very FIRST closed training session just days before fight unless there was some major concern/paranoia on the part of Freddie Roach.

They kick out all but a few members for a period all the time, i don't think it really matters. Just a petty attempt to look like they are training a secret weapon or something. He has been searching for the elusive check hook. :hey

 

hatton was KO'ed by floyd before, would this have an effect on hatton's state as a fighter or his chin? yeah that was at 147 and at 140 he is a different fighter and is undefeated. would this fact, make hatton any less of an accomplishment for pac if he pulled this one?

 

They haven't kicked out the 24/7 cameras. Roach made a point of saying that he didn't care if they filmed the sessions - did you see that? He said it wouldn't matter because Hatton couldn't stop it anyway. Roach's policy just got changed, and he has now contradicted a direct statement. I can't see them staging an almost 3 hour session, and alienating HBO's "all access" cameras for the sake of games. The mind game was Freddie saying he didn't care in the first place. We know that now.

 

Nope, that knockout loss has no effect on him whatsoever.. c'mon now, that knockout was caused by a check hook, a punch that hatton didnt see coming.. He got hurt and knocked out cuz he didnt see that punching coming which are the most dangerous punches.. At 147, floyd's punches aren't damaging enough to change a fighter's chin.

Hatton's chin is fine and he was never meant to fight above 140.. He's a whole different fighter at this weight and pacman deserves all the praise if he pulls this off..

It would be such a big accomplishment. IF anyone tries to discredit pacman's victory by bringing up the Floyd fight, Id bash them hard.. Floyd has nothing to do with this fight..

It's good that you brought it up. Because if Pac wins, had that point not been made, you can bet he would try to use it to discredit Pac. So bookmark this page, in case he forgets.
