I feel both fighters will be better than they ever been when this yr. is over. Pacquao is gonna show case that in the Hatton fight and Cotto will show case it in the clottey fight. The Loss that Cotto had was a good thing and it's gonna make him better. You guys just wait and see.

PS: Both will have the potential of beating PBF, especially Cotto IMO.

Pacquiao has probably peaked in 2008. Even though i think he has what it takes to win it by a longshot, he will not stay prime forever. We're talking about a guy who started his career 15 years and about 9 divisions ago. Also, he is already talking about retirement. Never a good sign.

I agree, but Manny will start to leave his prime slowley probably around 2011. I dont think either would beat Floyd though, I mean they have a chance but I would still bet on Floyd.

Cotto is pretty dam good, maybe just tighten up a little more defensively, but he is such an offensive minded fighter that would change his entire style.

I always felt Cotto had the best chance against Floyd. He fights very short, He throws a lot of punches, and he is a beat fighter, he doesnt just come in throwing useless punches, he uses his opponents momentum and movements to counter, something that gives a slick guy fits. He can take a great punch at welter, works the body great, and is tenacious. He's also very strong. Floyd is not going to have such an easy time coming back. Hes too much into the money thing now, and if hes coming back only for it, he might have a tough time.

I hope your right. And I hope Cotto is able to be a 100% for Clottey. I think he will needed.

I'm going to go ahead and say that this won't happen. Cotto and Pac are too old and too far into the game to make any drastic improvements. Both guys will pretty much continue to fight like they always have. Pac will make some subtle improvements. Cotto will be the same fighter at the end of the year that he is now.

I overestimated Cotto, he's arguably worse than he was at the beginning of the year.
