comment ever again on Calzaghe, the career, the man, the 'legacy'.......

Its like trying to trying to convince a heroine addict that the 'drugs don't work'.....

I can't be arsed debating with the blind amongst you. The final straw had to be the Roy Jones prime vs prime assesment by some of you 'experts'... Also amusing were the Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano comparison.....

Anyway that is all.. I don't care what you say.... He was over-rated. Like waking up on xmas day with 46 presents but 44 empty boxes.

Anyway that is all.... I am going to sleep right now and in the morning there will be no more Calzaghe observations.....

Sad thing is had he gone to the States late 90's early 2000's who knows what would have happened, (still can't see him beating RJJ but who knows...).

I'd have a **** load more respect for the guy, thats for sure.

What about an 0-0 record and a very vague knowledge of the sport centered entirely around JC, Hatton and Amir Khan.... lol... expert.

Yep. You have put on a little tummy weight by the look of your new avatar too.

It is funny how everybody rates your opinion on everything here on ESB and you seem to be the 'go to' guy for info and actual real boxing knowledge but when Joe Calzaghe comes up you are deemed a ******. It is a shame the fanboys are like this.

JC could have been a top 10 ATG British fighter if he fought top class opponents in his prime and beat them but more than likely he would have gone over there and lost and would be on the same level as Clinton Woods.

The WBO title is just a belt of mass distraction.

Yep. JC never had the guts of someone like Woods even if he was a better fighter.

What did Woods do that Joe never did, get whooped by RJJ, or get whooped by Antonio Tarver?

Yep the Tarver fight was embarrassing.

Woods showed bottle to go stateside and fight a good version of RJJ. Joe hid from that task so he could fight Euro bums and guys with obscene padded records like Kessler and Lacy and the rest.
