and "Ricky Hatton is the Real Deal at WW", he picks Hatton too for the win.

All mind games of course but not the first time there has been a bit of needle between Roach and DLH. What do you think of this interview?

Probably all true except that Morales fought Pacquiao at 130, not 135, good interview tho.

Of course it's a factor. It's his job to say this stuff.

Wow this is a shock, you never see a promoter actually pick his fighter to win!

Perhaps, I thought De La Hoya looked terrific against Mayweather and looked in the best shape I have seen him in.

De La Hoya said the same thing after he lost to Mayweather. He said that Hatton is the man to beat Mayweather Jr, and now after his fight with Pacman hes predicting Hatton to win. Floyd Mayweather is the 'hit and run' type of fighter, where there is Manny who is a type of seek and destroy type. I think Manny will to a better job on Hatton than Mayweather did. Although you must take into consideration...Ricky Hatton looked a different fighter last time out under Floyd Sr. We shall see Saturday night.

Ah yeah, but that was at 154 not a 145 and even at 154 Floyd Se had Oscar always been in shape , he was able to throw a right hand , and go 12 round with out tiring even under heated exchange. See the Vargus fight.

You may want to alter the OP - he didn't give Hatton credit at WW, just 140. Saying Hatton is "real deal at WW" be a terrible stretch even for someone in BS promotional-mode.
