Not knowing the full details it would be safe to assume that Warren has his ass pretty well covered.

I would be surprised if he was actually a director of one of (or both) the firms..... could be wife, kids, member of his staff etc.

 

Setanta should have been more careful in their initial drafting of the contracts me thinks.

The company (Sports Network) MAY have - I do say may..... Warren only acts on behalf of the company..... even though it was probably Warren's decision.

 

At least this explains why Sports Network was replaced by Frank Warren Promotions at his events over the last few months.

having done a law degree i can assure you that notions in popular culture about all these legal loopholes here there and everywhere are complete balls, the courts will in 9/10 cases side with common sense

IF IF IF Warren is doing as has been suggested in this thread, and his defence is that he is not in charge of sports network and its them that owes joe the money and starts a new company, despite the fact that everyone knows that to be if not factually, then certainly practically untrue, warren doesnt have a hope.

read the judgement in the case against joe. Warren picked and edited certain aspects to attempt to claim a moral victory however take the time to read the whole thing and see how scathing the judge was over certain aspects of warrens practises

 

Good post. I read the entire judgement, it was very interesting but not surprising. The bit about lying about the Kessler purse to the gov bodies is out and out fraud. In my opinion!
