Taylor or Pavlik? Did you like Taylor fighting better competition in B-hop Winky Wright, Kassim Ouma and Cory spinks (i know they were small but still ex title holders) and Kelly Pavlik and having the more competitive fights. Or did you prefer seeing Pavliks more exciting style but beating on crappier opposition like Gary Locket, Marco Rubio and Sergio Mora?

I don´t see that many fights Pavlik can make at middleweight that would satisfy us right now other than a fight against Abraham. IMO the middleweight division is nowhere as deep as smw for instance.
I trust that Pavlik vs Abraham will take place, but things have to fall in to place for that to happen.

With respect to Abraham who I think is awesome, Pavlik is the linear Middleweight champion and earn't that title.

That said - HANGING to see Abraham/Pav or Sturm.

Looking back like that Taylor did fight the better guys , admittedly the smaller better guys but Pavlik hasn't fought a great deal of good fighters since becoming champ I spose. But then as said elsewhere outside of Abraham its not exactly a division bursting with Talent

    True....to a degree.

The 160 division is thin right now.

But there are some good fighters at the top.

AA, Paul Williams, Sturm, as well as Pavlik.

The problem is getting them to fight each other.

I think PW, AA, and Pavlik would face one another.

    But Sturm :-(

I´m just not sure if we will see Williams against one of the top dogs in middleweight. He has got a lot of potential fights at 147 and 154.
And how much credit would Pavlik get from fighting Sturm?

well Abe is unbeaten while Pavlik even tho ill got toyed and destroyed by b-hop 174 or not. he has been beaten very decisively.

also arthur has had a very good streak. not top notch opponents but not patsy's. we would of grumbled at ayala and simon had they fought taylor or pavlik but most of abe's opposition would of been happily incorperated into jermains record.

i personally feel that abraham has annexed pavliks claim.

Sturm is just Harold Hardrada compared to Abraham's Harold Godwinson and Pavlik's William of Normandy.

Because he beat Ayala and squeaked by Simon?
