    Pudwill was a late replacement.

Not much you can do about that.

Fair enough, but proclaiming yourself greater than Lennox Lewis after beating Pudwill?

Of cause this is just trash talk, and boxers do it all the time. The thing is, when other boxers do it to Joe - for example Froch at the moment - I'm not sure if Joe can complain too much. He used to dish it out himself too back in the day.

He hasn't been complaining all that much though, has he? Anything he has said has usually been sporadic, and in response to Froch's verbal volleys.

Infact Calzaghe was classy enough to praise Froch, while Froch is continually trying to goad somebody that is quietly in retirement.

I don't think he's moaned has he? I may have missed it though.

Just defended himself and answered questions honestly.

  10. Calzaghe had doubts he could beat Lacy. Therefore he couldn't beat Lacy...

    Oh wait.. What happened?

Are people that desperate to see Joe lose that they resort to this?

I think a lot of people feel ripped off by both Joe and his then promoter.

I wish Calzaghe had had a different promoter, but I will settle with what he accomplished. Very excellent fighter.

Why would any one feel let down by Calzaghe? Hopkins wanted 6million to come and fight Joe in England after the Lacy fight which basically was the same as saying NO I DONT THINK I'LL BEAT HIM.

Don't hold your breath. This is another classic Calzaghe hater's criticism "he never had the balls to go to the States" then they suddenly fall silent when asked who there was that was worth going there to fight. Basically Jones and nobody else, but even he was a light heavyweight. I used to think it was only the yanks who thought every boxing match should be in their country even where there is no point in it being so whatsoever.
