please Carl stay away from Hopkins!

    oh my goodness this fight is on the cards, with schaffear and henny already discussing it

    yes Froch gets paid, but his career will be ruined by Bernard
    someone like Froch never beats hopkins. Froch maybe strong as an ox but he's stiff as a board can you imagine the damage hopkins would do with those 6 ich inside punches, bad bad look for Froch, Hopkins is all wrong for him

    carl, if you're going to run with big dogs you better learn how to pee in the tall grass

    Hope it doesn't happen. I don't even think Froch would get the amount of credit he'd deserve if he overcame a stylistic nightmare and somehow beat Hopkins. He's just an old guy, that Calzaghe beat, and Taylor beforehand. Calzaghe gets a very unreasonable amount of credit, Froch would get even less.

    Hopkins can't draw flies to **** either so its not exactly mega bucks.

    The fight is all wrong, Froch would get completely embarrassed. The only thing it could be good for is betting. Brit fans might be deluded into thinking its a competitive fight, and I'd bet a huge amount on Hop.

    No way Carl will beat hops, this will be a bad move IMO. Hopkins is a mare for anyone, but Froch would get easily beaten.

    even if he was to somehow beat hopkins (impossible) it wouldn't be pretty (hurting his appeal) and he would take a lot of damage

    it would be big in this country and would be Froch's best payday (trying hard to search for positives)

    hopkins has problems with very athletic, extremely fast fighters (RJJ, JC) Froch would be one of his easiest fights

    Carl's biggest selling point is that you know it will be a tear up.

    If he fought Hopkins it wouldn't be good to watch.

    I'd rather see Froch fight Hopkins than get in a ring with Kessler.

    Sooner or later the years are going to catch up with Bernard in the ring and when they do the wheels will come off fairly quickly...Froch may be the man to start the process, or maybe not. Either way a horrible matchup.

    bhop would give froch a beating!! a wideeeee UD and it would ruin froch as a fighter and mentally he will never be the same. I would stay away from BHOP who would seriously school froch and bust his face up.

    Awful fight for the fans to see. No money involved and not a fight that will pull punters in. The only way this gets made is with the Goldenboy push.
