I highly doubt that. But if he did, I would finally have a solid reason to jump on the bandwagon.

Mosquera had a rep for a very good chin prior to Valero. He didnt go into survival mode until about round 7, even though he lost by TKO if the ref allowed him to go on no doubt in my mind though Mosq would of went the full 12.

Well I know he should get credit for it, but he won't like he should. It won't matter who Valero beats, many people doubt him and don't really understand he's more skilled than they think. He's considered by most armchair critics as just a KO puncher and nothing more.

True, he can take a hell of a punch and he might have made it 12 but it was getting brutal and he may have easily been damaged for good. That crazy ******* was involved in some murder supposedly like 4 days later which is why he went to prison. I don't know the details of it though.

Soto is good, maybe B+ or A- level fighter...BUT he has that mexican style which is willing to trade and being a warrior that he is, he wont back down and that would spell disaster against valero..

Those arnchair critics prolly saw only his fights blasting his oppositions in the first round. Maybe, they haven't checked out his sparrings in youtube against guys bigger than him where he showed skills and finesse against bigger fighters like Sta. Cruz. I remember him whooping Sta cruz ass for 3 rounds and sparring against antillon in the 4th and finally putting him out in the 5th. That valero with 12 first round KO brutal wins was imposing his will against bigger opponents.

Maybe but the other side of the coin begs another question, will valero be able to withstand soto's brutal attacks?

Sucks he had those 12 fights then lost his license for 4 years. He'd already be a huge name. At least he's finally back.

Prescott has power and the size advantage but he is too inconsistent...Im leaning towards valero but not that confident..

You never know though, I wasn't going to be THAT surprised if it's on. After all putting Prescott in a REALLY risky fight like this clearly shows that a possible rematch with Khan is out of the question or maybe they want someone else to take care of him before Khan looks to avenge it.

I'll be hoping/expecting Khan and his team take this fight before someone else does.

I think Prescott has been overrated because of his victory over Khan. Valero to stop him him mid way through the fight.

Of course he is. All he's ever shown is devastating KO ability. Fact is no one knows how he'll cope against a master CP. In fact, no one even knows how he'll cope against a great boxer.

But saying he wont get credit for beating Prescott or Soto is ridiculous

Kind of hard to say but the problem is when Soto feels Valero's power will he be less willing to get hit to hit? Guys seem to give up landing anything meaninful once Valero hits them. I guess they need an inhuman chin, and huge power! lol

Valero has not been hit with anything big much because of this. He got hit by Mosquera flush some but it did not seem to faze him. People say he might have a bad chin because he went down in that fight but it was not much of a knockdown. I've watched it a few times and after a punch it looked liked their arms were tangled and Loco kind of swung Valero into the ropes but he's never seemed hurt.

I also notice his head does not seem to snap back much at all the rare times someone can hit him with a decent punch so that could be a sign of pretty good punch resistance, but can't be sure atm.
