I'll be honestly glad when this is over...

I'm fed up reading threads about this fight as if it's the most important fight that can be made out there...

Its the clash of styles to make an action packed fight that makes this one so appealing, not so much importance.

whats the anticipation for the fight like in England? is it crazy or kind of going under the rug?

you gotta admit... not only is it not the biggest fight of the year.. but the events that follow the result of the fight is what is also making it interesting

it SEEMS as if pac is fighting for the chance to fight floyd
and hatton also.... although that fight probably wouldnt come off

Anticipation of the fight in the UK is high, better than I expected. Not quite the levels of Mayweather-Hatton but still the country is buzzing, all eyes on Hatton tomorrow night. All lads I know who arn't even in to boxing seem to be watching the fight somewhere. It's been on all the main news channels and sites, home page of skysports.com plenty etc. A local bar has a special extended license for tomorrow night too. Plus there's the fact that Ricky is doing a homecoming dinner show on May 15th here in Southport, Merseyside.

damn I thought the buzz for this fight would be bigger for hatton seeing how its his 2nd time fighting a p4p #1 and everyone would rally behind him for his shot to avenge the first loss...

so the mayweather hatton buzz must have been insane

and how does everyone in england think hatton will do? not hardcore boxing fans but just the regular average fan?

    feels that

No way, definitely not as big as the Mayweather fight. It must be the fact that he has now been defeated and that Mayweather hyped the fight so greatly, it had everything. If they have a second encounter however then that could be bigger. Yes the buzz for "undefeated" was insane, it gripped the country like the world cup.
