Thats fine, but there is more to life than boxing. And Naz realized this. He got out when he could, with his health intact, a decent career behind him and a lot of money. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127810
That was, without any doubt, the most disgraceful entrance into a boxing ring of all time. It doesn't matter if you think Hamed was a great boxer or incredibilly over-rated but theres no way someone should find what he did that day amusing. The ultimate lack of respect for a fellow pro ever displayed.
No, dont get me wrong, what I said above is the ONLY negative stuff I have to say towards Naz, I like him WAY more than I dislike him.... its just that I was gutted when he never came back & IMO it left a bit of a gap in the boxing part of my life, I really loved watching him - either boxing or interviews.
Are you kidding me ? That was sheer artistry, Naz at his absolute peak. I liked Robbo too but a fights a fight, he knew all about Naz beforehand & it was up to him to be good enough to stop Naz from doing his stuff... he couldnt & Naz performed on his biggest career fight, credit to both guys but that was a beautiful display by Hamed vs a very good, solid & tough warrior in Robinson.
I agree Lee, I used to cringe during his entrances. I often went to make a drink until he entered the ring. For the Kelly fight I went out and milked 5 cows. If I'd been Kelly I'd have ****ed off until he had finished.
Absolutley loved the guy in the ring. No ones come close since he's retired. But despise him out of the ring. What ******* cripples another person for life and shows no remorse? An absolute ****
He was a cocky little elf. He did bring excitment to the game, but once he was exposed by Barrera that was the end of him.
Kevin Kelley was well aware that this would happen, he would have seen the schedule, it was not an impromptu thing. I'm sure Kelly's career high payday would've helped him cope with the indignity as well.
I won't miss some of his Bull**** antics, but he did far too much for the sport not to appreciate him.
i just hate his long damn ring entrances, a great fighter though. unfortunately marco antonio ruined his career.
What fantasic insight this is. Totally original. It's not like 'exposed' is a meaingless cliched term that certain people use to cover the huge gaps in their boxing knowledge....
