Pac is a giant LW, who has proven his ability to some degree at a higher weight. JMM however has been hurt by the light punching Diaz, and appears much easier to hit now at 135. Pac would come into the ring at the same weight as Floyd. Marquez however would likely be outweighed and outclassed.

Though after a significant break from the game i don't have a problem with Floyd picking Marquez, at risk of showing any decline in ability.

Not if he fights Cotto, Clottey, Williams, and other top welters. Fighting a superfreatherweight or say lightweight who has not fought in the l40 to l45 is a prima facie evidence of cherrypicking. I'm not surprised he is called Fraud Mayweather for nothing.

Who did Cotto fight after getting raped by Margo?

Who did Margo fight when he needed a break from the "action" of top WW's?

Who did Pavlik fight, and is continuing to fight?

Even my boy PW. Who did he fight when he decided to move up in weight and test the waters?

All of these questions have the same answer.... Tomato Cans.

But JMM. He's no tomato can. Not for anyone at the smaller weights. He wil be a live, proud opponent who has a lot to prove, and a lot of skill and toughness to back it up. No comparison.

People complaining because Floyd will probably outweigh him by 3 to 4 pounds on fight night. Yet, they want to see him in the ring with someone who will outweigh him by 12 pounds at least.

    Doesn't ****in make sense.

A fighter who had (not is) 'manos de piedra' will "****" anyone. :deal

No one give's a rat's asz about some cheating *******.. :hey

    Some confidence-boosters post-Hops (who's ATG).

    Umm, not JLW's, i s'pose... :yep

Yea of course, JMM, P4P #2 in most ppl's list, a natural JLW. Whew, thank God, Iron Boy is not P4P #2, Floyd would have taken him also for his comeback and Pbf's fans would have been proud and beaming to have their demigod take the "#2" for his comeback. :patsch

:huh Really? The last time i checked, JMM came in at 142 his last fight. And there is not much reason to believe that Floyd after his hiatus would weigh less than 150 at fight night...that's some 7-8 lbs difference to me. ;)

    INDEED!

I agree that mayweather will win and win easy!!!!

Floyd Mayweather finally makes his return, not against Cotto, not Williams not Mosley, not even a ligit Welterweight or even Light Welterweight, yes ladies and gents hes making his "comeback" against...Former Featherweight Juan Manuel Marquez!!! and no one is shocked that he chose a smaller man to fight...What a ****ing disgrace...
