Just let them get on with it. Whilst some do go slightly overboard, the winner deserves their plaudits, whilst the loser is still a top class fighter!

    Imagine calling yourself me :-(

I don't have any problem with fighters bigging themselves up. To make a serious challenge for a world title demands a certain level of arrogance in really thinking you are better than everyone else out there.

What I think is more telling is when boxers talk in the third person, as though the boxer Ricky Hatton is a character that the real Ricky hatton has made up because its easier to talk about some character being the best than to test his own sense of confidence with "I" or "me" being the best.

This 3rd person thing is a psychology trick to emotionally distance yourself from your situation.

This bashing of Hatton is just typical of the british mentalilty that we knock our own. Hatton is not arrogant, just confident.
If you don't like him, you don't like him, i just don't understand why

Why would you say "me" about yourself on a regular basis. It's not all about me me me in this world :-(

The personal pronoun "I" is being lost IMO.

Hattons only big chance is to bully him, get on top, not let Pacman get going, go to Pacs body and stop him early.....but i see it being different....Pacman to catch Hatton when Hatton is comming in ALOT. Pacman to hit, get out of danger, in and out style.

Accumulation and accurate punches on a weak defence, esp against a soutpaw stance.

Hatton to lose heart, he will never be hit as much as he will tomorrow.

    Pacman TKO9
