He prefered to fight under queensbury rules and only fought under LPR if his opponent held all the aces. I would say that makes him the first gloved champion

One great fighter who never made it into the IBHOF who should have by any fair measure is Jeff Clark. You could make a statment by putting him in this hall but it is up to you.
