Pac is too small to beat Hatton imo.

Against ODLH Pac could afford to be so light as Oscar was ****ing awful that night: slow, lethargic and ponderous. It was like a focus pad session where Oscar had the focus pad on his head, because he didn't throw ****.

On fight night Hatton will outweigh Pac by a big margin but, unlike Oscar, he is in his prime weight division, the division he has dominated and never been beaten in. He will throw plenty.

Pac is not hard to hit, Hatton even landed on PBF a few times early in their fight so he sure as hell can land on Manny. Plus even though PBF was going up in weight he looked the natural WW to me, his body comfortably carried the weight without looking too heavily muscled. Not so Manny. So Hattons in-fighting style ie mauling will shock Manny how strong he is.

All this talk about Pac having more power is bull****, agaist a pedestrian Oscar he had his feet planted and was landing at will with everything he had on a stationary target. If Hatton was able to do that Oscar would have been stopped earlier, I really believe that.

Hatton walked through Tszyu's shots in order to beat him down on the inside, I see a similar demeanour in Hatton as I did in the lead up to that fight. And with the added bonus of PBF resurfacing (Hatton REALLY wants another crack at PBF, and PBF REALLY would like the money) Hatton knows how much is riding on this fight.

Most worringly of all, that all the Pacfans are ignoring, is that he has been stopped by body shots TWICE. There is nothing Roach or anyone else can do to increase his punch resistance downstairs.

So I think with Hattons superior size and strength he will find it easy to dominate on the inside and manipulate Manny into the places he needs to get him in order to land the KO body blow. Hatton KO by Body shots Round 7 is my prediction.

Probably should have called this thread 'What the weigh in really tells me' as it is just my opinion, obviously.

PAC = lateral movement with speed and POWER in his arsenal.

the above equals Ricky Hatton's demise

I do't buy this POWER thing. Not at LWW anyway. The shots are fast and flashy, but that's not enough to keep the bigger Hatton on the outside. Once he's inside the extra weight WILL come into play. Hatton manhandles Pac on the inside, that's what I see happening.

I don't do excuses. I'm not a ****ing ******. Fighters win, fighters lose, that's the game. This is just how I see it.

Hatton is weight drained and and will be sluggish throughout the fight. Sadly he will be dragging his ass in the later rounds thus making himself a prime target for a knockout. It is Hatton who will be going home early.

PAC was too small to beat Diaz, too small to beat DLH,
Floyd was too small to beat DLH, Marquez was too small to beat
Casamayor and Diaz .... sounds like a bull****, isn't it?

You miss one key point and thats the warrior aspect......... Pac wont be denied. I'm a big Hatton fan but I think Pac is better. When it comes down to who's willing to leave on a stretcher or win, I think Pac will take it.

hmm says... I don't think he's too small.. Perfect weight class and Pac has fought as an underdog against bigger foes before (not referring to DLH) so this isn't something new to him. Even though Hatton is seen as the underdog... Pac always fights like the underdog. Should be another crowd pleaser.

I think Manny enters the ring tomorrow weighing in the mid to high 140's. He was at 147 lbs. a couple of days ago, and I bet that that's the weight he's maintaining for the fight.

He just probably cut down on food a bit, a day before he weighed in.
