Most agree that although Pacs win over Hoya was a great one, he was fighting a shell of a fighter. David Diaz got played down by many as being the weakest champ at LW and some went as far as call him a "paper champ", which I disagreed with.

Ricky Hatton is neither of these things, he is THE man at 140 and he's nowhere near faded, he'll be at strong at this weight too.

So how big a step up in class at these weight levels do you think this fight will be for Manny?

Its a monumental step up imo.......we should see for the first time in a Pac fight above 130 lbs if Pac can actually take the punishment at these higher weight classes.

What it comes down to is that Pac has only fought twice north of 130 lbs, the Diaz fight and then the DLH fight, and both were too slow to and lethargic to even lay gloves on Pac.......

......I'd actually be shocked if what happened to Diaz and DLH happened to Hatton and Hatton could'nt even lay gloves on Pac.

Hatton will lay gloves on Pac, and we shall see for the first time north of 130 lbs if Pac can take it.

Thats the million dollar question surrounding this fight. People who favour Hatton to win will say its a large step up (too much?), people who who favour Pac will say its a small step up or even no step up at all.

    Take yer pick...:D

This would be a huge win for Pac.

A much bigger win than Hatton beating Pac.

Hatton is the champ here, not Pac.

This is not like Hatton vs Floyd where Floyd was the P4P king AND the champ at hsi weight.

Not enough has been made of the fact that Hatton is the true champion at this weight.

They've made it out like Hatton is challenging Pac for the P4P title that does'nt even exsist, instead of making it a world title fight where it's Pac who is the challenger.

I think Pacman is so good that he can handle most fighters the same way. Ricky has to come at Pacman hard and try to do what Hagler did to Hearns, but I just do not see that happening. He has to go for broke. My guess is if he does he might still be stopped, by round 2 he will be tired and Pacman will knock him out in 3 or 4. If he comes out slow then he might be stopped in 8 or 9. So he might have a hard time winning. Too bad. I like Ricky.

People tend to forget that pac went up 2 divisions just to fight oscar (the one who called out pac) who was bigger and stronger than him. Pac didn't know what version of oscar he will be facing but he still accepted the fight. Pac's balls alone is greater than his performance that night.

These bitches and haters who picked oscar by KO were also the first people to cry and made excuses. **** that! regardless of oscar's physical state during the fight pac performed like a true champion that night.
