The people came to see Hatton and no one else.
lets say you're a football fan who supports Arsenal (for example) and a tottenham player comes out on the pitch!! he gets booed. Its nothing personal ,he just gets booed.

Khan got booed by people who dont support him. They didnt come to see khan.

Nah, its not the same mate. They could have just clapped. They booed and Englishman on American turf infront of the worlds media.

Its not like they're rivals. Amir is always very respectful of Hatton so they could have just done nothing, not even clap. They went out of there way to ridicula him. ****s

I guess some consider khan to be aligned with the roach/pacman camp. Some just plain dont like him.

Perfectly fair. Khan deserves it for being him.

Thats the reason it must be but its daft really I mean it's not like he's doing it out of spite. He needed all the help possible with his career after the Prescott fight.

Its pretty lame really, Khan couldn't be more hated if he appeared in public all the time with a body bomb strapped on and with suicide bomber tattooed on his forehead. It is fairly obvious that the British public will not and has not taken to him for whatever reason, and that situation won't change...if I were him I would just get on with it, **** the UK, base myself in the US and play the bad man when fighting in Britain

Felt really sorrry for him. He's a ****ing Olympic hero yet a lot of Brits treat him like shite. He doesnt seem very self confident as it is. Last thing he needs is mindless hate

i dislike khan because he isnt the goods but it pisses me off when ppl deny the fact that racism isnt involved in some of khans hate (i was annoyed that he was sharing the same stage as ODLH and JMM)

I wouldnt say its hardcore racism or that Hatton's fans are racist its just most Hatton fans (unlike us on here) are less boxing fans more just football fan types, and the sad fact is that there still is that underlying xenophobic issue with a minority of dickheads.
