I'm glad Juan Manuel got this fight against Floyd. He's 36 and probably coming to the end. And if he wins it will be by far the biggest win in the decade. Marquez has balls the size of basetballs. When he says he wants to fight, he means it. Love Marquez and we will all miss him when he's gone.

People are all writting him off and I understand why but there is no denying that no other lightweights would ever jump 2 weight classes to fight one of the best fighters of the last 30 years. I love that little mexican!

yeah props to Marquez. but why wouldn't he fight Floyd.. It's a win/win situation for him. If he loses - "He was the smaller guy" "He was old" "The referee won the fight for Floyd" a fat paycheck plus no shame in losing to Floyd right?

Imagine if He wins though! that would be something.. wouldn't it?

jmm is one of the best operators currently fighting, and a future lock for the HOF. the guys sublime style is just magnificent to watch, particularly when he's in the zone. i still want to see a 3rd fight with pac, because the first 2 were ridiculous showcases of skill at the absolute pinnacle of the sport.

Yep there is one way to him to lose and it's take a big beating. At this age it may finish his career. But anyway he'll take a good enough pay check. I'm rooting for him and hope he can pull of an upset against the inactive Maywheter.

Yea agree especially since FLoyd doesnt have a world tittle Juan is just trying to fight the best. Im sick of fighters who are fighting paper champs EX Pac Vs Diaz or fighters who want to come out of retirement just to win another tittle Ex Morales, whats the point you are already great don't embarrass yourself.

That is the most likely scenario but you will look like an idiot if he does not.

Marquez is getting KTFO. But hopefully he'll make a mint and will be able to retire in style. He deserves it.

I don't know what Marquez is thinking jumping 2 classes to fight Mayweather. STUPID!! Mayweather will crush him in 6 or less, 9 rounds tops. Why not fight Baby Bull again that was a great fight, I would pay to see it again. Mayweather has been training for months and you can't get ready for Money in just 2 months. Has everyone forgotten about Sugar Shane. I would like to see Mayweather fight Shane or Cotto. Marquez should have had a fight with someone that he can beat if was to jump 2 class, a tune-up fight with somebody like Judah. Better yet why not a second fight with Chris John who kick is ass the first time. Marquez has never been in the ring with somebody like this before, speed, power and defense. Mayweather will throw so many combinations at all angles that he will frustrate Marquez, Marquez is a great fighter and very smart but what do you do when someone is as smart as you and bigger, stronger and faster.
