Whether Ricky can apply the new things hes been taught! For this is the only unknown factor coming into the fight!

Chavez couldn't get on his toes and dance like Roy Jones, but he was still a Master Boxer. Likewise, Roy couldn't swarm and infight and brutalize people on the inside while being the aggressor like JCC could, but he was still an All-Time Great talent. Ricky is brilliant at what he does at his weight - and that makes him damn effective despite his lack of versatility.

Hatton's defence is without doubt a weakness. It is nothing even like a strength for him.

What the referee Kenny Bayless allows as far as Hatton's clinching and in fighting. We saw what happened when Cortez did not allow it.

For me, the most important aspect of this fight is Manny's punch resistance up at 140lb. People talk about his movement, but this is not Ricky Hatton vs Pernell Whitaker. Manny will get hit at some point during the bout, and we have yet to see suffucient evidence of him being able to take a good shot outside of 130lb. Likewise, Manny's own power will play a crucial factor, it goes without saying. If Ricky can walk through Manny's left hand, which I doubt he can, then I don't see how he loses this fight.

Enjoy the fight. We're all going to be a lot smarter after the fight, I feel.

Hatton's defense is the single most important factor in this fight. If he can't evade Pac's punches or deal with his speed, fight over.

Besides the talent of both figthers I think the referee will be a big factor on this fight, It all depends on how Baylees will let the fight go on

Pacmans socks are the main issue

My thoughts exactly. We could see Hatton getting frustrated by the ref early on and losing his discipline.

Bayless won't be the problem, he is a fine ref. Didn't he do Hatton-Malignaggi?
