Obviously Floyd cares. And yes, people do complain about size when it's one guy jumping two divisions. Floyd's size was measured against GUYS IN HIS DIVISION.

Of course people would complain if he picked a garbage WW. This is Floyd Mayweather Jr. WTF..wouldn't you complain if he did that? I know you love him, but you must at least WANT to see him in good competitive fights as well.

Hopkins is 45 he doesnt need any excuse to retire cause he shouldve done it a long time ago,Mayweather retired in his prime when he had some deserving quality fighters in his division for him to fight and then comesback to fight a guy whos last fight happened two divisions above.

:rofl Oh jesus you are a simple one. Oscar, Tito, Winky, Pavlik and Calzaghe were ALL moving up in weight to fight him! About as much weight as how much Marquez will be moving up. And as everyone knows its easier for smaller fighters to put on weight then larger guys. Hell Winky look like he had a big night out at crispy creme when he fought B Hop.

    Hello mcfly!

Who says Marquez has to add weight anyway? It's not like he's fighting Cotto or Paul Williams who would drastically outweigh him on fight night.

Compared to Floyd who's only going to outweigh him by single digit lbs.

There is always going to be deserving quality fighters. There is always going to be that other guy, nobody in the history of the sport has fought everybody. Especially if you are a guy who has fought in 5 weight classes.

He is fighting a smaller man who has never fought above 135 and who is going to be skipping a division essentially.

What does Floyd beating JMM really prove?

Why is it okay for Floyd to fight Cotto who would outweigh him by 10-15lbs.

But it's not okay for Floyd to fight Marquez who Floyd would outweigh by 5-8 lbs.

I know that. But you cant get too complicated for them. I mean how many times has it been explained that Hatton weighs more at 140 then Mayweather does at 147 and yet you constantly see dumbasses saying that Hatton was just ineffective at welter and the fight should have been held at 140, like it'd make a difference.

Marquez weighs 144 on fight night. Mayweather 148. Mayweather is 1 inch taller then Marquez.

I know that, you know that. But these mooks just want to see Mayweather fight the biggest guy possible because they want him to lose. Its just blind hate

    Sounds awful semantical.

We're talking about a WW fighting a WW compared to a WW fighting a LW.

Personally I don't give a **** either way but I think this is a goofy argument.

Oscar did that against Shane and lost. Explain that one.
