Bingo. He IS the smaller of the two. As per whether it's close or not, he's the smaller man. Point blank.

Does it matter in the long run? Obviously not to Marquez. If JMM is willing to take the fight then who am I to cry about it? Whatever.

I just think there's a good class of top WWs I would've preferred to see him fight.

I agree with everything you just said except Marquez doesn't even have to go all the way to 147. Still I'd rather see him fight Cotto but he'd be nuts to fight Cotto 1st after that layoff. That layoff is a huge part of the reason I said Winky didn't stand a chance against Paul.

Nope. See, Hopkins and Hagler fought about everyone in their division. Kinda hard to call them cherrypickers. Sure they fought some guys coming up, but who hasn't.

One thing you cannot deny is, Floyd's last two opponents aren't even in a division where he won the title.

You can try to bring up other fighters, seems to be the easy thing to try and do. But they aren't even the same.

Yeah, for his two biggest wins to move up 6 pounds (or less in DLH's case) is the same as Marquez jumping to 144...

It might have been but he's still admitting to the one thing his Nuthuggers are vehemently trying to deny!

Pavlik and Winky are obviously not set for 170. Anyone could see that. Duran, sure he did it. Only a few guys have been able to. Doesn't make it the norm.

Okay? So why do you want Floyd to fight guys only bigger then him? Why don't think arguments hold when people want him to fight Cotto, Mosley or Williams who are bigger than him.

If you can read carefully, you'll see thew only ones trying to twist anything are you guys who are in 100% defend mode.

So what you saying is. We have to wait and see how Marquez does to see if he can handle the weight?

C'mon Lance you act like Oscar and Tito were always at 154. You normally make a lot of sense but you going a lil too far with this post. Oscar starte dhis career 30 lbs lighter than Hopkins. I give Oscar just as much credit for fighting Hop as I give Pac for fighting Oscar.
