Exact same thing Floyd is asking of JMM as what Hop asked of Winky.

Winky at MW(157, last fight) to skip SMW to fight at LHW(They came in at 170)

JMM at LW(135, last fight) to skip LWW to fight at WW(They come in at 144?).

Exact same. Except JMM has to add 9lbs to Winky's 13.

this is quite telling. so he's admitting that jmm is too small for him, why fight him then? why is the self proclaimed "greatest of all time" take the easy route. talk about cherry picking

This is the portion of Floyd's comments that nobody is talking about. I can see why we all would have reason to doubt him but if he lives up to this claim then there can't possibly be anything negative to say about him.

Mayweather continued, "the rest of those fighters who called me out can get in line too because they are going to get their chance...one at a time and slowly but surely.

Which is what I think we're all hoping for really. JMM then Pac or a top 5 WW is outstanding and what we all want.

That said of course I've sort of done this dance before. It's to the point where you go "okay? Well let's see it then." I fought on the same side of Eze when Floyd first retired, feeling that the idea was to build some steam for a juicy Cotto/Margo/Mosley vs Floyd fight. Instead he dicked around with a potential rematch against Hatton and Oscar and played us.

So you can see the ire some people have.

Alright yours is dated from Feb. The incident I'm referring to is from April.

So it's entirely possible we're both right on this.

That's why I said I can see why we should have some doubt. You have to give him a ton of credit for not fighting Oscar again though.

Im guessing he wanted 20 million straight out of retirement but wants a tune up first if he's not going to get that kind of money right away.

Which is fair and makes sense.

If you guys have any clue as to the legit prospects of Pac vs Floyd Jr, take a look at Arum's attitude on the 20 Million Dollar request. He and Floyd will NEVER agree on money.
