yea but Floyd can do this.

"Hey Arum, remember when you said I would never even get close to making 25-30 million for a DLH fight?"

And then Arum would hop over the table and try to strangle him

Then the cops would show up and it would be the top story on sportscenter

I think it's a good tune up fight too. Floyd can't win on this site though, people still haven't replied at the fact that JMM is the No. 2 P4P fighter in the world and he wanted a fight with Floyd. Floyd took it, he shouldn't get blasted for it because it's not like he's a natural welterweight. Hagler was a natural middleweight and he would fight whoever was on the P4P list near or even further from is weight.

So Floyd shouldn't fight welters now?

So what some are saying is that basically he moved to welter, but only to have smaller guys come up in weight and fight him. And he shouldn't fight any welters. Hmm, ok. Move down then, and stay there.

I never said that. I was responding to some people that go "why should he be fighting welters who are bigger than him".

I give him credit for fighting Judah, Baldomir heh, well he wanted the belt, it's fine. Then De La Hoya, his big money fight, you can't blame him for that. Then Ricky... ok... I think he should have fought a top welter here, but ok, another big money fight, IT'S FINE. He wanted a rematch vs Hoya... :dead, then he retires. NOW he comes back, and wants JMM for a "tune-up".

    Why shouldn't he get a tune-up?

After that tune-up, NO PACQUIAO, NO HATTON, time to fight a top welter. If he doesn't by this time, he's either, "running" or cares only about money and not legacy at all. Whatever floats his boats.

Quite a few people gave Floyd some semblance of props for fighting a guy whose in the top 3 P4P. I'm pretty sure that the rational ones of here are giving him credit for that.

We're also raising concern about him fighting someone whose never fought above the LW division. Also raising our concerns about wanting to see him fight people in his weight class.

I keep reading this "Floyd isn't a natural welter" argument well then **** why is he fighting in that division then? If he fights as a welterweight then he's a welterweight. Not even the most ardent Floyd supporters would say otherwise.

I think floyd is jokeying himself into a show down with pacman somewhere down the line?

It was obvious that comment was intended towards delahoya vs pac fight?
