If Hatton went up in front of a rabid crowd of muslim Khan fans he would likely get booed.
Its time to move on and forget it.

People have had hassle at Khan fights. Its been documented in here afew times.

the thing i dont get is that its said that these are the casual fans that boo him. but its the casual fans which arent really aware of the easy fights that have been put his way, and probly arent going to be aware of every soundbite that comes out of his mouth either. i would say these are the reasons that alot of serious boxing fans dislike him.
the average 'hatton fan' probably dislikes him because he isnt hatton, isnt a white 'one of us' character, and prob also because they see him as a failure after getting knocked out by someone they had never heard of.

many of those booing him were also at his last fight putting money in his pockets, so get over it

he didn't get booed when introduced on the stage for the JC/hopkins weigh in, so whats happened since?

    HE'S BEEN STARCHED
    JOINED THE PACQUIAO CAMP
    GONE ON PPV

I was out for Calzaghe-Hopkins last year and Khan was cheered. I wasn't expecting that and it was a refreshing change.

Actually all the boxers introduced were cheered - especially Rrrrrrrrrrrroy Jones Jnr - although Khan and RJJ had about the same amount of volume.

Shannon Briggs had the "He's got a pineapple on his head" song... and obviosly Hopkins got booed!

    that makes it alright then?

so ignorant...what is this, the roaring twenties??

what's this about amir khan's comments - he's never said anything remotely annoying, arrogant or controversial. doesn't talk about himself in the third person like hatton either.

The booing Is quite pathetic really, and the biggest shame is that Amir doesnt have the personality or enough of a mastery over the english language to give some stick back to this bunch of unclassy Chavs, Eubank or Hamed Style.

Anyway nothing Amir has ever said could ever compare to Ricky Hatton claiming he has quick hands lol. Now that deserves some boo's.

    WTF??

Complete bull**** of the highest order. And im afraid the first geniuine answer you are likely to see on these pages on why Khan gets booed by Hatton fans. Because the Muslims would do it to us?.

Like they did to Enzo and Cook???

No, the embarrising behaviour of Hatton fans, which will be evident later, is soley down to the English Football faction that follow Hatton everywhere like he is a team. The same folk that assume if you like Khan you are both rabid and a Muslim. Daft ****.

He got abit of mild booing. I said its time to forget it and move on.
He was facing a rabid crowd of pissed up fans and he got afew boo's.
Im not losing sleep over it.

    Nice signature.
I like it when people sign off with their real name.

Its not only the football thing though i agree its part of it.

I would also like to comment on this muslim thing. From the interviews ive heard, khan has done hes best to keep himself 'within the british'. i.e hes a brit like you and hes proud of it etc--even catching some stick for it.

IF he was for eg. an outspoken suicide bomber supporter, or whatever else those sick cowards do-then i could totally understand any hate he gets. I dont seem to remember him connecting himself to any of that

He didnt get it at Calzaghe's weigh-in. They were pretty pissed aswell.
