Lara was a poor choice of sparring for Hatton. He is too reserved and calculating.

Not sure why everybody thought it was such a great choice. On a quality level maybe, southpaw yes, but they are really nothing alike. Hope he had a few more aggressive southpaws.

 

Wouldn't have froch ahead of him but not top 10 for me

 

No im taking **** a bit, Pavlik is close, but definatly not in top10, hes ahead of Froch for definate.

 

god i hate jim watt was gonna use the american commentary on my laptop and mute my tv but that old man merchant is on that and there is a 5 second difference

Moore was good.

Jeffries was ok but not hugely impressive, made lots of errors and should have won in a much cleaner fasion.

Williams was boring.

Rendall Muroe was worse.

Webb sucked.

All in all Sky fails.

 

I recommend doing it when hatton fights as when he fights jim becomes ricky

 

Chris Grays pretty good isn't he? Reminds me a bit of Ray Leonard only much better.

 

I mean the whole build up in general, 24/7, countdown to Hatton Pacquiao, just doesn't seem that much really until quite recent, comparing to the Mayweather fight (thanks alot to Mayweather but still), or does this fight build itself really? And how can you call Williams boring....:-(

I think Watt is spot on, Lara will improve against more game opponents. To me he's setup to be a counterpuncher, he's not completely comfortable leading off.
